Memoir of an intern doctor…..day 57

The work- life balance is quite challenging. Somehow I’m tryna keep it together with the fact that I’m an intern.

But My social life has just gone from 50% to 10% . I think life should be more than just eat, work, sleep and text.

My man is very many districts away, And my chess gurus aren’t in this town. My monkies are busy treating patients somewhere. Most of the friends I made these past 5 years are busy doctors or parents or have jobs and lives to get together. My Lacor family fills my heart but our schedules just don’t match. We only catch up via breakfast.

Even when I don’t check on you people, I still love you all.
