Memoir of a Medical Intern..Day 2

Sooo….Day 2.

Today started off with me completing my night call duty which went on till this morning.

Somehow I managed to take 40 minutes to go shower, have breakfast and be back for the morning meeting before 8:30am

I worked in Gynecology OPD today with a medical officer. Was a good day. But of course, the long lines, which I’m not complaining about, except again for the language barrier….I had to work with an interpreter and of course this slows the pace down.

Lunch came in at around 3:50pm, returned for afternoon duty 40 minutes later went to clear the line.

This was my first 36hr duty. I rushed for my bed there after, and…..I’m now sobber. 😁
