So today was my first night call duty on Surgery. Damn! All the surgery is studied came back to me in one night. Appendicitis, empyema thoracis, intussuseption, burns, fractures, pancreatic cysts etcetera I was lucky my second on call walked me through the night. We did procedure together. It was good

I have confirmed 4 deaths in the last 18 hours . the death rates in surgery are worryingly high. Mass causality. I had only heard of it. I experienced it tonight. Motor accident. 25 casualties.
