Memoir of an intern doctor….day 136

Yesterday was my birthday 😊.

I turned 24. Most importantly, I didn’t know how to celebrate because I had been on night duty the night before. So I went through my whole day sleepy and waking up to blushing about all the good messages these good people sent me. Some made me cry, and blush and smile . the love was immense. And may I say that please show me this love daily its therapeutic💝😊 .

Around 10pm. A friend delivered cake to my door. My beauty Alice sent me cake. I was happy and surprised in ways I couldn’t explain.

Then about 10:30pm, my fellow interns decide bring the party to my room. Boom! Singing, music, another cake, wine, gifts, and showering me with lots of beautiful words.

I had a very beautiful day guys. Thank you all for making it happen 💝
