Memoir of an intern doctor…day 112
My leave started today. Supposed to be seven days, I got 8. My colleagues granted me this day. How nice!
First of all, I’m already glowing from the imagination of leave😍
Had a free ride to kampala, then i took a bus to Mbarara. Was a beautiful welcome home with hugs and screams. I have missed my people.
Then the most amazing thing happened. My little sister made a welcome gift for me.
So the colourless blocks represent glass slides, the red and black thing below represents medicine, the red long thing above represents a syringe, and the white interrupted stuff represents stitches….in her words she concludes this represents your doctor life.
Its beautiful. I almost cried. She’s just 10, but how creative😍😍
