Memoir of a medical intern…..day 63

From shooting prostate biopsies, to seeing a patient walking into casualty with a knife stab in his chest, and being late on day one . in my defense, I didn’t know these guys hold theatre morning meetings. I guess I’m forgiven but Damn! I like it already.

Not that I like it because this young man has been walking this earth for 3 days with a knife implanted in his chest, but how fascinating can that be?

Surgery is generally broad, and there will never be any 2 patients presenting the same exact way especially for trauma cases and so you’ll never know what to expect.
