THE WAR AGAINST MAKEUP
While growing up, we had rules of do this and dont do that that we followed. Most of these were by our parents, and then our teachers “our other parents”. But then ,we turned 18 and became adults. We joined university, and our rules were almost ours to make and break. Until society brought this MAKEUP rule onto us.
If you are all over social media, you must have come across the very many memes about makeup. Most developed by men!!!. They talk about how wearing makeup is equivalent to being a terrorist. And am thinking… really? Are you kidding me? Why should a man use his weakness to humiliate and demoralise a woman. Here is my point. Many men find a pretty face something they can’t resist. They will always be compelled to look, look again, and again, and then finally want to get what they are looking at . And am wondering, will you go after all the women in your village or town just because they look pretty? Give us a break.
Women wear makeup to feel new , to feel different, to feel happy about themselves, to feel young, to feel female….because its a female thing.
Okay let’s face reality. Assuming she wears makeup to attract you in particular. She gets to look more like what you want, and so you want her, then you go after Her. In the end, its a win win for the both of you. Women are not terrorist!!!! I repeat We are not terrorist!!!!!!.
But what do you call a man who claims to be rich, borrows cars, poses in friends’ posh houses to look rich only to attract girls. Is there more terrorism than that? See, girls don’t just get attracted to money, NO. They get attracted to hardwork. You having money portrays the hardwork in you and that is something. Money is security . Everybody needs security in life.
If your girl wears makeup and you are worried she will give you ugly kids, relax!! Maybe your future daughters will wear makeup too and for your sons….well if they are hardworking and get to earn their money, they will never look ugly. But for a man, if you are lazy , and spend all your money the second you get it, maannn, I don’t think that got a solution.
DEAR LADIES, WEAR YOUR MAKEUP. IT’S NOT A SIN, IT’S NOT TERRORISM….. IT’S FREEDOM. IT’S HAPPINESS, IT’S YOUR LIFE. ENJOY IT!!!!
