The Bludgeonings of Love…a poem by Rackara

The darkness clouds in,
The rains weather on,
With every drop there is a whirlwind
The ripples of my shattered dimensions spiral.
No tether to my reality
Ghosted into the next with all my fraility.
I try to follow your scent
Walking the path anew,
With decadence to light my journey
My stars align to draw me closer to you
With the end no closer in sight
My mind’s just a poser
Hallucinating in my own deceit’s my plight
Unbroken by realities
I thought I was in love,
My life’s still in chains,
Am lost in your love
I reach for your hand but you pull away
You turn and walk from my past
I looked forward to the future at last
My pestilence efforts in disgrace
Nothing yielding for my emotional sustenance
I waved to your shadow cast
Without a chance to say goodbye
My dreams are all that keep you tied to my mast.
When I look into the distance,
It’s my life holding up still,
Guided by your life gone ,
Neglected to say the least
But you said it would be okay,
Your words are the serenity for the pain,
My love,
The treasure of my world,
To live is to love you.
I miss you.
