Small big things that will make you smile in the future….history
My first book..ever. Baby Class 1999
My dad loves history. He has done way too much and is willing to spend as much on anything historical. Recently when we had the first phase of locusts invading Uganda, I was in Gulu and he asked me to keep one locust for his museum (its not a physical museum yet, he’s still collecting stuff and keeping in boxes), because he felt it was something his future grand children should see given a similar invasion last happened very many years before he was born. I didn’t get the locust though
One page to give you a taste of my handwriting😂😂. Please note, the one in pencil was mine, the one in pen was for the teacher.
So you know how you travel and take pics on your phone? Now dad wants you to go that extra mile, make hard copies of the pictures and write the dates on them…for keeps, for the memories. I think this is beautiful
So recently, because of the lockdown, he’s been home, very idle and he decided to go through some of the old stuff he had been collecting. He found my first book ever of 1999 when I was in baby class. I need to frame that book. And guess what? He managed to locate his books too.
You notice my book was half?😂😂😂. Till today, I don’t know why they used to cut our books into half
Dad’s book from the year 1980
