Memoir of an intern Doctor… Day 59

I had a hard laugh with a patient today. I have never laughed at a reason for why someone decided to seek health care, but this one killed me.

Mother , 6 days in puerperium following cesarean section traveled 3 districts to reach here. Her concern was that her pain that disappeared completely and suddenly and she was very scared that she was loosing sensation and was going to die

She had called her mother at 2am to tell her about how she woke up painfree. Her mother was concerned too. They prayed and informed relatives.

I couldn’t hold my laughter. I laugghhheddd and she alsooo laughed😂😂. Examined her and Reassured her. Gave her a free bed where to spend the night. Saw her this morning, we still laughed 😂😂😂
