Happiness
Over the past few months, I have gradually appreciated the fact that even more than love or money or anything…. name it, Happiness must be greatest feeling there is.
Turns out it can’t be bought. And here iam taking back my words from a blog post about 1 year ago where I said money can buy happiness. It surely can’t. Because if it did, we wouldn’t be having the richest of people stepping into depression to a point of commuting suicide and leaving behind all the greatness they ever built.
Happiness is not what people see, no. Its not measured by how many milkshakes we take, how many flights we take every month, how beautiful one looks on Instagram, how nicely one dresses, how famous they are , what job they do or even how many friends they have. Its what someone feels, very truly to themselves.
The pursuit of happiness is somewhat a challenging one, and many never achieve it. A talented surgeon I admired so much once said find something you like, and let it consume you. Maybe thorough this, we’ll someday find something that truly makes us happy 😢.
Its the struggle; the pursuit of happiness.
