Don’t give up ! 

I haven’t gone zip lining before because my body and soul don’t feel ready,😂 but I have gone hiking multiple times and at all these times, I have felt the urge to stop half way my journey and wait for my colleagues as they return downhill, or to just stop at that “I give up” point and just walk my way back to the bottom. But I have not done it. I have always found a way to make it to the top. 

Same as life or any situation” journey” you could be at right now. I will try to relate your journey to that bridge above.  

Many times when we decide to pursue something, we want it, we can’t wait to have it, we are dying to have it, and so we start the journey. Just like that beautiful bridge. We always hope to enjoy the ride, and of course to see what’s at the end of this bridge (the rain forest) and in our case, the bright future or the beautiful family or the nice career. 

Initially, we see the holes, we could fall through anytime, but we overlook all those and keep moving. Then half way, we get stuck “emotionally, psychologically even sometimes physically stuck” . And this is where our lives tend to end . we decide to give up, or even to jump off this bridge to end it all (suicide) , Although some life situations may not necessarily give us an option to turn back. Or wait for people to meet us half way……because sometimes nobody knows we are even on such a journey. We end up losing ourselves in the hope to debulk and probably make the journey smoother…….but it never does.

People debulk in different ways. Some give up on God, taking care of themselves , caring about the things they once built, friends, work. The best way I can term this is Depression 

I hope anyone going through this can find the courage to go through this. To pick themselves up and purpose to continue moving along that bridge. I can assure you that whatever you find at the end of that bridge will give you a form of fulfillment. Push on my friend. And if you are unable to do it on your own, then grab someone along. Someone close. A friend, a sibling, a partner, a parent , a guardian. Let them in , let them help you, because you got to see the end of that beautiful bridge.  Remember why you started.
